Ace is the gentle giant of Karma Dogs. He might weigh
more than many of the kids he reads to, but he has a heart
of gold. He wishes more people would introduce themselves
and not shy away from him because of his size. Nothing
makes Ace sadder than when people don't give him a
chance just because he's bigger than the average pooch.
He just wants to be friends with everyone! Ace loves to read
mysteries, but will gladly listen to any stories - even if they
are about cats. When Ace is not hanging out with the
Karma Dogs, he likes to walk around his neighborhood
downtown and make new friends. Vito is hoping that Ace will
become his summer swimming buddy!

Tami
Tami has designer feet and she is not afraid to get
them dirty. Tami has the fanciest feet we have ever
seen on a dog. Check them out if you get a chance.
You would never guess this by looking at her fancy
toes, but Tami is very athletic. She loves to hike for
hours a day! She loves to check out bugs and leaves
and other smells along the way. By the time Tami
comes to her appointment, she is usually tuckered
out, which makes it a perfect time to hear stories!

Little Ricky was adopted from the Humane Society in
Connecticut when she was a year old, back in 2002.

hu-munga tongue. Ernie loves to run all over the house in circles while
chasing his kitty brother, Scout, and gives him lots of kisses when he
catches him. Ernie loves sticks more than anything except peanut butter
and likes to eat his dinner out of a Kong toy. Ernie likes to wrestle his two
doggie brothers, but decided he would rather become a Karma Dog than
a professional dog wrestler. He likes to watch tv, but can't sit still long
enough to find out how the show ends and he always bugs Dirk to tell
him what happened on Sponge Bob Square Pants and Meerkat Manor.
Ernie loves to play with little kids and really wants to be a HEARTS dog,
but he can't be quiet long enough to read a whole book. He hopes that
when he is one year old, he will be able to sit still like a big boy. He also
hopes that Tasha will finally pay attention to him and love him back. Oh
yeah, he is also totally blind - But that doesn't stop him from doing
