Meet Dewey
Dewey is a very silly dog. He is delighted to be a therapy dog,
however, he is still slightly upset his career on America's Next
Top Dog Model did not work out. He is obviously very good at
taking pictures and still holds on to the dream he can be
America's Next Top Dog. When Dewey is not on the dog-walk,
he loves to spend his time eating his favorite food -
peanut butter! He loves to eat it anywhere. On tennis balls, on
squeaky toys, straight out of the jar- you name it. Dewey also
loves to play in the snow, swim in the summer and go for car
rides that end with belly rubs. Even though he strives to be
ANTD, he does not like manicures or squirrels with attitude. Or
opera, don't even
try to sing opera to him, he won't listen.
While would seem that Dewey is quite the traveller, he really
loves to sit down with a good book. His favorite right now is Kat
Kong and Dogzilla. He can't wait to hear more stories!
Meet Kirby
Kirby was adopted from the MD SPCA in 2000
his Mom and Dad.  Once a homeless dog,
Kirby has been a treasured member of his
multi-dog household ever since. Described by
his family as "the coolest, most laid back dog
in the world", Kirby wins over the hearts of all
that meet him.

Kirby suffers from Degenerative Retinal
Disease and is completely blind in one eye
with limited vision in the other.   Everyone else
knows he is blind....except for Kirby! He has
never let his handicap hinder his zeal for life
and navigates with very little help.

Kirby hates going outside in the rain or taking
a bath. He does not like to swim, either! And
like any self respecting dog, he hates getting
his toenails clipped.  His favorite things are
treats, belly rubs, and kisses.

Kirby enjoys hearing the stories at the library.
While he can't see the pictures in the books,
with the help of a good storyteller, he doesn't
miss a thing!
Meet Trapper
When Trapper was born, he was the runt of the litter. Being
so little, he learned to stay out of trouble quickly. It might
be why is he so quiet. He likes to people watch and listen to
stories instead of making mischief. Trapper was rescued
from a puppy mill when he was a baby. The puppy mill was
very scary, so he was so excited when he made the
journey from Arkansas to Baltimore with thirty other dogs.
Trapper is so happy to be in Baltimore - he can't wait to
meet new people. Trapper is a very good listener and
loves to hear stories about animals who take trips. You can
tell he listens because he has so many silly expressions.
Trapper is very laid back for a one year old dog. He knows
the rules and even puts himself to bed sometimes. He can't
wait to make new friends as a Karma Dog.
